Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Develop scalable, platform-agnostic components and deliver robust, high-quality backend functionality.
- Write clear, efficient, and maintainable C++ code, ensuring long-term stability and performance.
- Collaborate closely with mobile teams working in Kotlin and Swift to ensure seamless functionality across platforms.
- Perform root cause analysis using logs, data insights, and code inspection to solve complex technical challenges.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks, tools, and performance evaluation methods.
- Participate in a distributed, asynchronous workflow that values autonomy, clarity, and high-quality communication.
- Drive technical excellence and support a first-class user experience through problem-solving, collaboration, and thoughtful design.
What you bring:
- 3–5 years of experience as a software engineer with strong ability in C++, and a solid understanding of how it differs from languages such as Java or Swift.
- Ability to design, develop, and maintain stable, well-structured, and efficient C++ codebases.
- Strong interest in working with data and using data-driven insights to support decisions and guide improvements.
- Commitment to writing and maintaining clear, thorough documentation.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and approaches.
- Enjoyment of collaboration, including pair programming and shared problem-solving.
- Comfort and experience working effectively in an asynchronous, distributed team environment
- Fluent in English and Swedish
