Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Build Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Design and implement a Bazel-based build architecture to support multiple game clients
Lead the migration from CMake to Bazel and optimize C++ build flows for performance and scalability
Train and mentor development teams in Bazel and BuildBuddy to build internal expertise
Document processes, establish best practices, and enhance the overall developer experience
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align build solutions with project goals

What you bring:

Extensive hands-on experience with Bazel in large-scale C++ projects
Proven track record of build system migrations, ideally from CMake to Bazel
Strong knowledge of Starlark and multi-platform builds across Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS, and Android
Solid background in C/C++ development and build pipelines
Ability to design and deliver workshops, effectively transferring knowledge to diverse teams
Fluency in spoken and written English
Advantageous experience with BuildBuddy and/or open-source contributions within the Bazel ecosystem
Strong communication and pedagogical skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts
Analytical, solution-oriented mindset, motivated by improving development workflows and team efficiency
