Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Perform advanced analytics and statistical modelling on large datasets to identify market and business trends, customer behavior patterns, and opportunities for improved decision-making
Apply mathematical, statistical, and economic techniques to assess market conditions, forecast customer demand, and support product launch planning
Develop data mining models, analytical protocols, and statistical reporting methods to identify customer segments and simulate the impact of new product introductions and marketing initiatives
Quantify the revenue impact of online marketing and e-commerce strategies to guide business and product decisions
Manage complex projects and analytical processes with a high degree of independence, ensuring quality and timely delivery
Coach and review the work of less experienced analysts to support team development
Analyze and evaluate opportunities to leverage AI for efficiency improvements within Volvo Penta Technology
Deliver a prioritized list of AI-driven ideas and recommendations for further evaluation and development

What you bring:

Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, data analytics, statistical modelling, or a related field
Strong ability to work with large datasets and perform complex quantitative analyses
Proficiency in mathematical, statistical, and economic methods used for forecasting, segmentation, and impact analysis
Experience developing data mining models, analytical frameworks, and reporting methodologies
Proven capability to manage projects independently with limited supervision
Experience mentoring or guiding junior analysts
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate and propose AI-driven efficiency improvements
Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex insights into actionable recommendations
