Job Description
Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior C++ Computer Vision Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Develop vision-based algorithms for offline calibration (data pipeline) and online calibration (operational or in-motion scenarios).
- Write and review C++ production code adhering to safety-critical standards in a Linux environment.
- Perform testing across multiple levels, including unit tests, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), integration, and in-vehicle testing.
- Drive product development, from requirement analysis and concept creation to implementation and testing.
- Address support queries, engage with automotive stakeholders, and resolve Fault Reports.
- Participate in forums and discussions to shape product direction and strategy.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize products and manage technical debt effectively.
What you bring:
- Proficiency in C++ programming with the ability to write efficient, testable software.
- Strong experience in algorithm development for geometric vision, robotics, or related mathematical domains.
- Knowledge of core software development practices, including version control, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Academic background in Computer Vision, Robotics, Machine Learning, Physics, Software Engineering, or similar (B.Sc., M.Sc., or Ph.D.).
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for teamwork and solution-oriented problem-solving.
Meritorious:
- Experience integrating software into complex systems or products.
- Practical Python skills for prototyping, algorithm testing, or internal framework development.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and frameworks.
- Expertise in GPU programming, computer graphics, or parallel programming on CPU.
- Hands-on experience with Linux environments, Docker, and system/integration testing.
- Knowledge of sensor calibration, including camera intrinsic/extrinsic calibration and multi-sensor alignment (e.g., LiDAR-camera fusion).
- Experience with calibration tools or libraries such as OpenCV, Kalibr, or custom frameworks.
