Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Category Buyer – Castings & Raw Materials to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships within Castings & Raw Materials to create long-term value
Analyze cost data and identify opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements
Drive the category strategy in collaboration with internal stakeholders
Negotiate contracts and lead supplier meetings to ensure alignment with business objectives
Monitor and ensure supplier performance across quality, delivery, cost, service, and technology (Q, D, C, S, T)
Proactively manage risks, support innovation initiatives, and plan supplier capacity to ensure a resilient supply base

What you bring:

Proven experience as a buyer or category manager within castings, raw materials, or similar industries
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret cost data and identify improvement opportunities
Negotiation and contract management expertise
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strategic thinking with a proactive approach to supplier risk, innovation, and capacity planning
Ability to work independently and drive results in a cross-functional environment
Fluent in English and Swedish.
