Job Description

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Cobol Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

  • Develop and enhance Cobol-based systems within a z/OS environment.
  • Contribute to a modernization initiative aimed at optimizing and evolving existing systems.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration and functionality.
  • Provide expertise to improve performance, maintenance, and scalability of the system.

What you bring:

  • Experience in Cobol development within a z/OS environment.
  • Understanding of mainframe systems and their ecosystems.
  • Experience with .NET and other operating systems beyond z/OS, such as Linux, is a plus.
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to contribute to a larger modernization initiative.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills in system development.
