Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Cobol Developer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Develop and maintain business-critical systems using COBOL
- Work with mainframe environments and associated tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of systems
- Contribute to system design and development aligned with business processes
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in legacy systems
What you bring:
- Strong programming skills in COBOL, SQL, and DB2
- Solid experience with mainframe tools and environments
- Understanding of IT system architecture and business workflows
- Approx. 5 years of experience in COBOL development (candidates with less experience but strong aptitude and problem-solving skills will also be considered)
- Experience in the banking or financial sector is a plus
- Fluent in English and Swedish.
