Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Cobol Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on

Develop, maintain, and enhance business-critical applications on the IBM z/OS platform
Contribute to system architecture and modernization initiatives, including migration towards DevOps and CI/CD in mainframe environments
Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to ensure stable, efficient, and secure system performance
Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of COBOL-based solutions
Act as a technical expert and mentor, sharing knowledge with the wider team

What you bring

Solid experience in COBOL development on IBM z/OS platforms
Proficiency with DB2, CICS, IMS, MQ, and JCL
Strong understanding of mainframe-based DevOps, CI/CD, and modernization practices
Independent, structured, and confident in technical decision-making
Experience working in complex, regulated environments, preferably in banking or financial services
