Job Description

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Cobol Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

  • Develop, design, and test applications in a mainframe environment with a focus on data management and system integration
  • Collaborate in an agile team to deliver high-quality solutions with a strong customer focus
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Participate in testing, requirements analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Learn and adopt new technical skills and best practices within the team environment

What you bring:

  • Experience with Mainframe, COBOL, DB2, and agile methodologies
  • Ability to transform business requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience in testing or requirements work is preferred
  • Academic degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Fluent in Swedish and English
  • Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork orientation, and communication ability

Merit:

  • Experience in the banking industry
