Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Component Responsible Production Technician to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Participating in development projects for new components within the Additive Manufacturing (AM) department.
• Reviewing design documentation in PLM and ensuring alignment with production requirements.
• Reviewing and approving external production documentation for in-house manufacturing processes.
• Preparing cost estimates for manufacturing and managing the ordering of CNC programs.
• Initiating new production methods and acquiring new fixtures to improve production efficiency.
• Creating preparations in SAP, including traceability and marking for components.
• Maintaining and creating production documentation, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Managing series production preparation and following up on deviations in the workshop.
• Communicating manufacturing issues to the customer and driving alternative manufacturing solutions.
• Managing procurement of component-specific consumables and handling deviations that have escalated.
• Participating in improvement projects and actively contributing to the continuous improvement of production methods and processes.

What you bring:

• Experience in similar roles, ideally within the Additive Manufacturing or production sector.
• A technical background, with education from a technical high school or college.
• Familiarity with design and production documents in PLM and the ability to review and approve them.
• Proficiency in SAP for creating preparations and maintaining traceability.
• Experience with CNC programming, cost estimation, and manufacturing process optimization.
• Knowledge of managing product cost follow-ups, lead time reduction, and cost reduction efforts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate manufacturing issues to customers effectively.
• Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work across departments such as R&D, quality, production, and purchasing.
• A flexible, driven, and curious mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in both Swedish and English for effective communication.
