What you will work on:
- Serve as the component responsible production technician for AM (Additive Manufacturing) components within your area of responsibility.
- Participate in the development of new components, including PDP projects, reviewing design documents in PLM2020, and approving external production documents for in-house manufacturing.
- Produce manufacturing cost estimates and order CNC programs when required.
- Initiate and implement new production methods and procure necessary fixtures.
- Create and maintain production preparations, ensuring traceability and proper labeling in SAP.
- Develop and update production documents, and follow up on preparations in the workshop.
- Manage escalated deviations, communicate manufacturing issues to clients, and collaborate with production, purchasing, other workshops in FSP, and clients to develop alternative manufacturing solutions.
- Initiate procurement of component-specific consumables.
- Prepare for series production, act as a resource in IPPQ projects, and conduct product cost follow-ups and post-calculations.
- Drive lead time reduction, cost reduction, and change management initiatives.
- Provide advisory input on NCR decisions via workflow.
- Report directly to the Order Manager.
What you bring:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles or post-secondary education in a relevant field.
- Strong teamwork skills and a high sense of responsibility.
- Fluency in Swedish and proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Preferably experienced in working with SAP.
- Ability to work independently while ensuring effective collaboration across teams and departments.
