Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Configuration Specialist to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on

• Develop and maintain configurable product models in SAP AVC (Advanced Variant Configuration)
• Create and manage characteristics, dependencies, and rules to ensure accurate and efficient product configuration
• Perform quality checks, testing, and validation of configuration models to ensure reliability and usability
• Document configuration models, rules, and related procedures for consistency and knowledge sharing
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal stakeholders across business areas
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AVC into different parts of the business and optimize related processes
• Contribute to continuous improvements as SAP S/4HANA and AVC solutions evolve
• Support roll-out activities, including occasional travel as required

What you bring

• Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience with variant configuration, preferably in SAP AVC
• Strong knowledge of SAP AVC/VC, SAP S/4HANA, and related tools such as SAP Fiori
• Solid understanding of data management principles and practices
• Experience with CPQ tools or other configuration management software
• Background in the process industry, ideally pulp and paper or other heavy industries
• Previous experience in SAP implementation programs, including data migration for configurable products
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability in delivering results
