Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Consultant – C++ / Linux Development to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Develop and maintain a desktop Linux-based GUI application for advanced treatment planning in radiation therapy
- Contribute across all phases of R&D projects including design, planning, coding, testing, and documentation
- Maintain and update a custom Linux distribution ensuring reliability and compliance
- Integrate the application with hospital systems and medical equipment through network interfaces
- Apply Agile and SAFe principles as part of a Scrum team
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, emphasizing communication and peer review
- Ensure compliance with quality systems in a regulated medical technology environment
- Continuously evaluate tools, technologies, and processes to drive improvement
What you bring:
- Strong expertise in modern C++ development
- Proven experience in maintaining and updating Linux distributions
- Solid knowledge of git workflows and branching strategies
- Experience in GUI development with the Qt framework (nice to have)
- Familiarity with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines (nice to have)
- Background in medical technology or other regulated industries, ideally radiation therapy (nice to have)
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to gather and analyze information effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present and review work constructively
- Comfort working in Agile, team-based environments with a collaborative mindset
