Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Design and implement robust data engineering pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and transformation
- Lead the setup and configuration of Azure DevOps environments from the ground up, including pipelines, releases, deployments, and hotfix strategies
- Develop and maintain workflows in Azure Data Factory and Databricks, including cluster management
- Code and script efficiently using SQL, Python, PySpark, and automation scripts
- Apply strong data modeling skills in BI projects with a focus on business logic and analytics
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, ensuring transparent and effective communication
- Manage and contribute to multiple ongoing projects simultaneously with high-quality delivery
- Use Git and DevOps tools for version control and continuous integration/deployment processes
- Work on-site with the team in Gothenburg as required, ensuring hands-on contribution and collaboration
What you bring:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on data engineering experience
- Proven experience independently implementing data pipelines and transformation solutions
- Deep expertise in Azure DevOps setup and configuration across full project lifecycle
- Strong practical experience working with Databricks, ADF, and associated workflows
- Proficient in SQL, Python, PySpark, and scripting languages
- At least 3 years of experience in BI projects with a solid foundation in data modeling and business understanding
- Agile mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
- Experience working with Git and DevOps practices in a collaborative setting
- Ability to manage parallel projects, communicate clearly, and actively contribute to team success
- Fluent in English (mandatory)
