Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Support the decommissioning of legacy data solutions, ensuring a smooth transition to modern platforms
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver data and analytics solutions aligned with business priorities
- Design, develop, configure, test, and maintain end-to-end data solutions from source systems to visualization
- Work across the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, implementing scalable and secure analytics solutions
- Leverage modern tools and frameworks to accelerate analytics implementation within the Global Data & Analytics Hub (GDAH)
- Ensure delivered solutions meet evolving business needs and adhere to established data and development standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team and across the organization
- Operate within the SAFe framework, contributing to Agile delivery and cross-functional collaboration
What you bring:
- 6–8 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer in complex data environments
- Proven experience as a Cloud Data Engineer or Business Intelligence Developer
- Strong expertise in developing solutions on the Azure Analytics platform, particularly with Azure Databricks, SQL Spark, Python Spark, Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory, and related resources
- Deep understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse architectures, including Lakehouse and dimensional modeling (Kimball methodology)
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence development methods, best practices, and design patterns
- Practical experience working within the SAFe Agile framework
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
