Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Design, develop and maintain data platforms and governance frameworks with a strong focus on Databricks
Drive improvements of the Databricks platform setup to ensure scalable, robust and secure data pipelines
Design and implement governance models, catalogues and metadata management to ensure compliance and high data quality
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for Databricks and related cloud services, enabling automated, reliable and reproducible environments
Collaborate with developers, data scientists and business stakeholders to translate requirements into governed, production-ready data products

What you bring:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or equivalent work experience in a relevant industry
Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or equivalent tools
Deep expertise in Databricks platform, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog and Databricks internals
Experience with automation and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably AWS
Strong background in modelling structured and unstructured data
Ability to work on-site in Södertälje at least two days per week
