Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Design, build, and integrate scalable data solutions in a cloud environment using Microsoft Azure
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks
• Work across the full development lifecycle including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment and handover
• Develop efficient and maintainable data models to support analytics and reporting
• Build and maintain Power BI reports to support data-driven decision making
• Collaborate with solution architects, engineers and business stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical delivery and business needs
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high standards of data security, quality and performance
• Manage and reduce technical debt while contributing to platform development and FinOps monitoring
• Provide technical support to team members and actively share knowledge within the Analytics community

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Databricks for data integration
• Strong knowledge of designing, implementing and maintaining large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines
• Experience in data modeling and building scalable data structures
• Proficient with Microsoft Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database and data warehouse architectures
• Ability to design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to balance business and technical needs
• Business-oriented mindset with the ability to translate data into insights
• Self-driven, proactive and able to deliver independently
• Fluent in Swedish and English, spoken and written

Meritorious experience:

• Previous experience in similar cloud data engineering environments
• Experience working with agile product development teams
