Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Design, build and maintain scalable, robust data pipelines
• Develop and optimize data models for analytics and BI
• Apply DevOps principles using GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
• Implement ETL/ELT frameworks following best practices
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver business value
• Contribute to architecture decisions and engineering standards

What you bring:

• 4+ years as a Data Engineer in cloud or advanced analytics environments
• Strong SQL scripting and query optimization skills
• Experience with Big Data processing, DBT, and ETL/ELT tools
• Hands-on with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and Git
• Solid experience with GCP services: BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, etc.
• Proficient in Python for data processing and automation
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling and performance tuning
• Familiar with DevOps mindset and agile delivery
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• GCP Certification is mandatory

Meriting (Nice to have)

• Experience with SSAS / OLAP cubes
• Domain knowledge in the retail industry
• Experience with Data Mesh principles
