Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Data Governance Lead to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Lead a strategic initiative to establish a strong foundation for Data Governance within the organization.
- Define and implement structured processes for data quality, ownership, and governance to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and align key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive insight-based business outcomes.
- Map system and data domains, ensuring clear data ownership and alignment with the existing system architecture.
- Identify and address gaps in data infrastructure and system support to strengthen the overall data landscape.
- Contribute to the organization’s transformation toward becoming a modern, data-driven enterprise where data is viewed as a strategic asset.
- Lay the groundwork for advanced analytics and AI initiatives by ensuring robust data management practices.
- Facilitate workshops and discussions with stakeholders to gather business needs and translate them into actionable recommendations.
What you bring:
- Minimum 5 years of documented experience in data and analytics, such as BI consulting, data architecture, or a similar role.
- Proven track record in leading data-driven projects and defining KPIs that deliver tangible business value.
- Strong understanding of Data Governance principles, including data ownership, metadata management, and data quality.
- Experience in developing information models, data catalogs, or similar data structuring solutions is an advantage.
- Solid technical understanding of IT architecture, data platforms, and modern data storage solutions such as data lakes.
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud environments is highly desirable.
- Industry experience within real estate or other asset-intensive sectors is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead workshops and present technical insights clearly to business stakeholders.
- Self-driven and structured work style with the ability to prioritize effectively and focus on business impact.
- Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
