Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Migration and conversion of data from old legacy system (SQL database) to new database in Cloud AWS (MySQL).
Development of the new database solution and involvement in architecture discussions.
Preparing data migration strategies, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Collaborating with developers and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
Performance optimization and troubleshooting during and after the migration process.
Creating and maintaining documentation for data models, processes, and migration steps.
Ensuring compliance with data security and privacy regulations.

What you bring:

Extensive experience as a Database Administrator, preferably in migration projects.
In-depth knowledge of SQL databases and MySQL.
Experience with AWS cloud services, particularly in database services.
Strong understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.
Proficiency in performance tuning and optimization of databases.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Good communication skills in English.
