Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
- Utilize services such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Azure Databricks, and Azure Key Vault
- Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes
- Design and maintain Helm charts and Kubernetes clusters ensuring reliability, scalability, and security
- Build event-driven microservices and data models using sidecar patterns like Dapr
- Implement and integrate messaging solutions with Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, or Kafka
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, automating build, test, and deployment workflows
- Optimize pipelines for performance and compliance with industry best practices
- Design and implement disaster recovery and backup solutions, testing and refining recovery plans to ensure business continuity
- Integrate security tools and practices into DevSecOps workflows, managing secrets securely with Azure Key Vault
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and enforce OWASP security standards against common web application threats
- Set up monitoring and alerting systems with Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Ensure high availability and reliability through proactive incident management
- Collaborate with developers to enhance application performance, troubleshoot issues, and support seamless deployments
What you bring:
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, scalability, and cost optimization
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for containerization and orchestration
- Solid knowledge of event-driven architectures, including pub/sub messaging with Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, or Kafka
- Proficiency in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
- Experience in disaster recovery planning, testing, and implementation
- Strong background in DevSecOps, including secure management of secrets, vulnerability assessments, and compliance enforcement
- Practical knowledge of OWASP standards and secure coding practices
- Experience in monitoring, logging, and incident management using Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to collaborate closely with development teams
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to operate effectively in hybrid work environments
