Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Diagnostic Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Develop diagnostic strategies and fault-tracing support for construction machines and components
- Analyze function specifications and technical documentation to identify root causes of system faults
- Create and maintain Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) descriptions and service tool operations
- Verify diagnostic content on machines and/or test rigs
- Contribute to functional descriptions and theoretical system behavior analysis
- Support maintainability reviews and continuous improvements in fault tracing during the design phase
- Collaborate closely with software developers, R&D engineers, product development teams, and other stakeholders across the product lifecycle
- Participate in lifecycle management activities to ensure long-term diagnostic performance and maintainability
What you bring:
- Background in electronics, mechatronics, software development, automotive engineering, or similar technical field
- Experience in machine diagnostics, embedded systems, or industrial/off-highway equipment
- Hands-on experience working with construction machinery or machine applications (advantage)
- Knowledge and experience with Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS) (strong advantage)
- Familiarity with fault tracing tools, diagnostic scripting, or service tool development
- Ability to interpret and work with electrical schematics, CAN communication, and system architecture
- Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving capability and structured working approach
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn new systems and technologies
