Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Diagnostic Operations Development Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Develop and enhance Diagnostic Service Tool operations for testing and calibration within off-board diagnostics solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement optimal aftermarket diagnostic solutions
- Verify diagnostic operations on both test rigs and complete vehicles to ensure quality and functionality
- Develop and document troubleshooting strategies for relevant DTCs and component-level symptoms
- Contribute actively to an Agile development environment, supporting continuous improvement and innovation
- Analyze engineering specifications and implement them into diagnostic and service tool operations
- Ensure diagnostic solutions are user-friendly and effective for aftermarket and service teams
What you bring:
- Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on experience in embedded software development, preferably within the automotive domain
- Proven experience with Grade-X or other aftermarket diagnostics tools and technologies
- Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems architecture and complete vehicle-level diagnostics
- Ability to read, interpret, and translate engineering specifications into technical implementations
- Experience working in Agile development teams with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both spoken and written
- Preferred experience with software processes and aftermarket systems
- Familiarity with tools and frameworks commonly used in automotive software development
