Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Electronic Design Engineer/ Test with SW Competence to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on

Design and develop electronic systems and components, including both analogue and digital circuits
Create schematics, perform simulations, and support PCB layout activities
Develop and implement low-level software solutions for embedded systems
Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electronics and software to ensure product quality and performance
Collaborate with customers to explain electronic design concepts and propose suitable technical solutions
Work with licensed products incorporating touch functionality based on infrared (IR) technology
Stay informed on emerging trends and advancements in electronic design and touch technologies
Participate in cross-functional teamwork to deliver complete and reliable hardware-software solutions

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics Engineering or a related field
Solid experience in analogue and digital electronics design, including schematics and PCB layout
Proficiency in low-level software development for embedded systems
Strong skills in C programming and experience with ARM-based microcontrollers
Proficiency in using Altium Designer for electronic design
Hands-on experience with test and debug tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English, written and verbal
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Effective collaboration and teamwork skills in multidisciplinary environments
Familiarity with IR technology (LED, laser/VCSEL) is a plus
Experience in testing and validation of embedded systems
Knowledge of Python and C# is considered an advantage
