Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Embedded C Developer to join our dynamic team.

What You Will Work On:

• Embedded Software Development: Develop and maintain low-level embedded software in C, focusing on automotive Electronic Control Units (ECUs).
• Communication Protocols: Design, implement, and test communication protocols using CAN (Controller Area Network) and CAnalyzer tools.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration of components and robust system performance.
• Automation & Scripting: Utilize Python for scripting, automation, and testing purposes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Linux Environment: Ensure software meets high standards of reliability and performance in a Linux-based development environment.
• Quality Assurance: Participate in code reviews, debugging, and optimization efforts to maintain and improve software quality.
• Documentation: Document software designs, architectures, and implementations to ensure clear communication and maintainable code.

What You Bring:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Embedded C Expertise: Proven experience in low-level embedded C programming, particularly in automotive applications.
• CAN Protocol Proficiency: Strong knowledge of CAN bus protocols and hands-on experience with CAnalyzer tools.
• Python Scripting Skills: Proficiency in Python scripting for automation, testing, and other development tasks.
• Linux Expertise: Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and development environments, essential for embedded software development.
• Automotive Experience: Experience in automotive software development, especially with ECUs, ensuring systems meet industry standards.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Excellent problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to debugging and optimization.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional Protocols: Experience with other automotive communication protocols, such as LIN and FlexRay.
• Functional Safety: Knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety standards.
• Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
