Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Embedded Developer to join our dynamic team.
What You’ll Do:
- Contribute to the development of new embedded software as part of a collaborative team.
- Deliver high-quality, well-structured code in C, focusing on event-driven state machines and low-level drivers for hardware peripherals.
- Develop and execute unit tests to ensure software functionality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to peers.
- Collaborate with the team and the IP department to generate new Intellectual Property where possible.
What You Bring:
- More than 5 years of experience as an embedded software developer.
- Proven ability to quickly get up to speed and contribute to ongoing projects.
- Expertise in C programming and debugging of embedded systems, including JTAG.
- Hands-on experience with ARM microcontrollers, such as STM32 or similar.
- Experience with bare-metal and/or RTOS environments.
- Knowledge of bootloaders and familiarity with development tools like GCC, Make, Lint, and Doxygen.
- Proficiency in software testing, including unit testing, integration-level testing, automated testing, and static code analysis.
- Experience with JIRA and GIT for task and code management.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices.
- Knowledge of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocol is a plus.
- Experience in the medical device industry or other highly regulated industries is highly desirable.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, preferably in computer science.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Swedish is a plus.
