Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Embedded Linux Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Develop and maintain our Embedded Linux platform within the GUIDE system, supporting connectivity and cybersecurity features.
Implement secure embedded solutions including secure boot, security hardening, cryptography, and secure communication.
Work with low-level software such as drivers and wireless communication, using Yocto-based Linux systems.
Contribute to requirements, implementation, testing, documentation, and release of new functionalities, as well as maintenance of existing code.
Collaborate in a cross-functional SCRUM team within a scaled agile environment, serving multiple medical device projects.
Deliver high-quality, reliable, and secure software to meet industry and regulatory standards.

What you bring:

5+ years of experience as a software developer in a Linux development environment.
Solid expertise in secure embedded systems, including coding best practices for security.
Strong knowledge of Embedded Linux, low-level software development, drivers, wireless communication, and Yocto.
Proficiency in C++ and RobotFramework.
Experience with Git, GitLab and/or GitHub for source control.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
A result-oriented, cooperative, and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work on-site in Solna four days per week.
Practical experience with SCRUM and agile methods (advantageous).
Previous experience in medtech or other regulated industries (advantageous).
