Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Embedded Security Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Design, develop, and test embedded software in C++ for real-time and safety-critical systems.
Implement and evaluate security mechanisms such as authentication, encryption, secure boot, and key management.
Contribute to secure software architecture through threat modeling, risk analysis, and security design reviews.
Integrate and test security features within software platforms, ensuring compliance with system and safety standards.
Participate in code reviews, continuous integration, and automated testing to maintain high software quality.
Collaborate closely with product owners, system architects, and DevOps teams in an agile development environment.

What you bring:

Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, or IT Security.
Minimum of 5 years of experience developing C/C++ software for embedded systems.
Strong understanding of real-time systems, embedded Linux, RTOS, or microcontroller platforms.
Proven experience with cybersecurity in embedded environments, including:
Encryption (AES, RSA, ECC), Secure boot and secure firmware updates, HSM / TPM / PKI
Secure communication protocols (TLS, IPsec, CANsec)
Proficiency with tools for static code analysis, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation.
Experience working according to ASPICE, ISO 26262, or ISO/SAE 21434 standards is a strong asset.

Meritorious:

Experience from the automotive or defense industry.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker), Yocto, Python, or scripting for testing and integration.
Interest in emerging technologies, startups, and new mobility business models.
Swedish language skills (spoken and written) are meritorious but not required.
