Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Application Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Performing end-to-end functional development including requirement breakdown, software design, documentation, implementation, testing, and verification
- Leading system engineering activities within a technical team and actively contributing to successful deliveries
- Developing features within a specialized technical domain such as Vehicle systems, HMI, Electro mobility, Powertrain control, Control Theory, Mechatronics, Diagnostics, or related areas
- Integrating and coordinating deliveries from multiple contributors to ensure cohesive system functionality
- Securing software quality, technical readiness, and compliance prior to release
- Driving development activities in early project phases, including defining technical concepts and long-term roadmaps
- Networking across the organization and influencing technical work across multiple sites
- Contributing to competence development within the organization and supporting business development initiatives
- Acting as a technical thought leader, representing the organization internally and externally, and linking expertise to broader industry trends
What you bring:
- Typically 12+ years of relevant experience in embedded software development and system engineering
- Recognized expert-level competence within a defined technical domain
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and take ownership of complex system deliveries
- Strong experience in embedded software architecture, implementation, testing, and verification
- Deep understanding of development processes, quality assurance, and early-phase product development
- Ability to integrate contributions from multiple stakeholders and ensure end-to-end system performance
- Up-to-date understanding of market and technology trends, supported by strong internal and external networks
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, educate, and develop other engineers within the organization
- Strong communication skills and the ability to act as an ambassador and thought leader for the technology domain
- Strategic mindset with the ability to connect technical expertise to future-focused business and industry need
