Job Description

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Developer/Tester to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

  • Develop new features and improve existing systems using C/C++
  • Perform system debugging, verification, and manual and automated testing using Python
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with electronics engineers, software developers, testers, application engineers, and team leaders
  • Contribute to improvements in software development processes and ways of working
  • Troubleshoot and test both hardware and software systems, ensuring alignment with software-driven hardware requirements

What you bring:

  • Civil or engineering degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field
  • Several years of development experience, with at least 3 years in embedded software
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively
  • Understanding of software-driven hardware requirements
  • Swedish citizenship

Meriting skills:

  • Experience with GIT and DevOps
  • Knowledge of radio communications
  • Familiarity with Yocto and Buildroot
  • Ability to perform measurements and troubleshooting at board level using measuring instruments
  • Experience with Linux and software applications in Linux-based systems
