Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Engineering Team Lead – Flight Safety and Design to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Lead and manage the design team to ensure high-quality deliveries according to set timelines and objectives.
Plan, coordinate, and follow up on design activities, ensuring alignment with customer and internal requirements.
Analyze and break down technical requirements to create well-balanced products considering functionality, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
Identify resource needs and ensure optimal utilization to achieve project goals effectively.
Plan and document verification and certification activities in compliance with applicable standards.
Conduct and lead technical reviews, both internally and with external stakeholders.
Drive design changes, prepare repair proposals, and support the creation of technical manuals.
Manage deviations identified in manufacturing, from suppliers, or during service.
Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, customers, and suppliers to ensure technical and project success.
Actively contribute to departmental goals, strategy development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical education.
Proven experience in leading design or project teams within an engineering environment.
Strong understanding of design processes, verification, and certification within product development.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
Structured, proactive, and results-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and delivery.
Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills with attention to both technical and commercial aspects.
Ability to inspire and motivate team members while fostering a positive and productive working environment.
Excellent command of both Swedish and English, spoken and written
