Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior ESG Data Governance Specialist to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Ensure ESG data quality, traceability, and compliance with regulatory and strategic requirements
- Act as a link between business and IT to establish shared understanding of ESG data
- Identify, document, and define critical data elements and develop a common conceptual model
- Secure complete data lineage from source to consumption
- Support data quality monitoring and initiate corrective actions where needed
- Contribute to agile teams with analysis of data quality incidents and new data initiatives
What you bring:
- Academic degree in data science, computer science, economics, or equivalent experience
- 2–5 years of experience in data-centric roles (data management, governance, reporting, or processing), preferably in banking
- Strong understanding of data management and governance, including data quality, metadata, information modeling, and data protection
- Knowledge of data processing and integration (SQL, ETL, data warehouse)
- Experience with analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, MicroStrategy, or Power BI
- Familiarity with ESG regulations (CSRD, SFDR, EU taxonomy) and banking regulations (BCBS239, GDPR) is an advantage
- Experience in agile ways of working and collaboration with IT
- Fluency in Swedish and English, spoken and written
- Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented approach
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate between business and IT
- Solution-oriented and self-driven mindset, capable of navigating complex contexts
