Job Description
Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Firmware Developer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Design, implement, and test embedded firmware in C for the nRF52 microcontroller platform.
- Utilize analog and digital functionalities, including ADCs, DACs, GPIOs, and serial communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART).
- Develop firmware with a focus on real-time performance, reliability, and low-power operation, leveraging the nRF52840’s Bluetooth and power management features.
- Ensure compliance with medical device standards, producing comprehensive documentation for firmware design, testing, and validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate firmware seamlessly with hardware and align on product requirements.
- Establish and maintain robust Git-based CI/CD pipelines, including automated testing workflows for efficient development and high-quality deliverables.
- Contribute to the innovation and optimization of processes in a dynamic and regulated development environment.
What you bring:
- Over 5 years of professional experience in embedded firmware development, preferably in medical or highly regulated industries.
- Expertise in embedded C programming and firmware development for nRF52 series microcontrollers.
- Strong understanding of analog and digital signal processing, including hands-on experience with ADC/DAC configuration and serial communication protocols.
- Proficiency in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) development and low-power firmware design.
- Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and real-time embedded systems.
- Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines, including automated testing tools.
- Experience creating detailed documentation that complies with standards such as IEC 62304.
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills, with proficiency in debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG/SWD interfaces.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of medical device requirements and standards such as ISO 13485 is a strong advantage.
