Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior FPGA Developer to join our dynamic team.

What You Will Work On:

Contribute to FPGA development for the neutron detector readout chain, ensuring high-performance and reliable signal processing.
Assist in the deployment, integration, and testing of FPGA-based systems in collaboration with detector, controls, and instrument scientists.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize hardware and firmware design for performance and efficiency.
Develop and implement test strategies to validate system functionality and reliability.
Support debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of FPGA-based designs.
Collaborate on architectural decisions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in hardware development.

What You Bring:

Proven experience in FPGA development, including VHDL/Verilog programming and hardware debugging.
Strong understanding of digital signal processing, high-speed interfaces, and embedded systems.
Experience with FPGA development tools such as Vivado, Quartus, or Libero.
Knowledge of verification methodologies, simulation tools, and testbench development.
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including scientists and engineers.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience with neutron detector systems or similar scientific instrumentation is a plus.
