Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack DevSecOps Engineer
What you will work on:
Backstage & Internal Developer Platform
- Develop and maintain custom Backstage plugins, templates, and UI extensions
- Configure Software Catalog, service metadata, and golden path workflows
- Integrate CI/CD, IaC, cloud services, identity, secrets, and deployment systems
- Improve usability, discoverability, and consistency across developer workflows
AI-Powered Developer Experience
- Integrate LLM tools and MCP-compatible services into Backstage
- Build AI features for onboarding, troubleshooting, documentation, and service scaffolding
- Implement embeddings, vector search, and RAG pipelines for knowledge discovery
- Enable intelligent recommendations and automation within the developer portal
Full-Stack & Platform Engineering
- Build backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and Python
- Develop front-end components using React and Backstage framework
- Support lifecycle automation for provisioning, standardization, and updates
DevSecOps & Security Automation
- Embed secure-by-default practices into software templates
- Integrate SAST, SCA, DAST, SBOM, and policy-as-code into workflows
- Implement governance and guardrails through catalog rules and plugins
Collaboration & Adoption
- Work closely with platform, cloud, and security teams
- Act as subject matter expert for Backstage and developer experience tooling
- Drive adoption through demos, documentation, and developer enablement
What you bring:
Core Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Backstage plugin development and developer portals
- Full-stack development with TypeScript, Node.js, React, REST/GraphQL APIs
- Solid DevSecOps knowledge: CI/CD, GitOps, artifact management, automation
- Cloud & container experience: Kubernetes / OpenShift / AKS, Azure preferred
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, or similar
AI & Automation
- Experience or strong interest in LLM tools (Azure OpenAI / OpenAI)
- Knowledge of embeddings, vector databases, and RAG pipelines
- Familiarity with MCP tools, AI-based documentation and code assistance
Security & Governance
- Understanding of identity, RBAC, secrets management, and compliance
- Experience embedding security into developer workflows
Professional Profile
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Passion for developer experience and automation
