Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Function Owner Functional Safety to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Own the functional safety responsibilities for charging systems and power distribution in battery-electric vehicles.
Ensure that all functional safety requirements are fulfilled and that safety processes are consistently applied within the agile team.
Collaborate with the Functional Safety Manager to secure full compliance with ISO 26262.
Contribute to essential safety artefacts, including HARA, Functional Safety Concepts, Technical Safety Concepts and safety requirements.
Drive safety-related activities across the development cycle, including analysis, concept creation, verification and documentation.
Support work related to vehicle type approvals and regulatory safety expectations.
Work cross-functionally with system engineers, software teams and other stakeholders to ensure safe system integration and delivery.

What you bring:

Experience working with functional safety, including risk analysis, safety concepts and safety verification (ISO 26262 experience is highly meritorious).
Several years of experience in the automotive industry within system or function development.
Knowledge and hands-on experience related to electric vehicles and their system domains.
Project management and leadership capabilities with the ability to drive functional safety work effectively.
Proven experience with ISO 26262 processes, Safety Case development and/or ASIL decomposition.
Experience working with vehicle type approvals or regulatory safety requirements.
Strong sense of ownership with the ability to take initiative and deliver high-quality results.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
