Job Description

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Functional Safety Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Collaborate with engineers to interpret and address risk analyses, ensuring comprehensive safety measures.
Propose and select components that meet stringent safety requirements to ensure system reliability.
Conduct MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) calculations to validate product reliability and performance.
Write detailed instructions and safety documentation to support safety processes and compliance.
Investigate and resolve safety-related issues independently, ensuring adherence to safety standards.

What you bring:

Proven experience in functional safety, ideally within the heavy vehicle industry.
In-depth knowledge of the ISO 26262 standard and its application in safety-critical systems.
Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate safety activities, ensuring effective implementation of safety measures.
Strong analytical skills, with the capability to assess and mitigate safety risks.
Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, facilitating effective collaboration and documentation.
