Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Golang Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What You Will Work On:
- Collaborate with a team of engineers, UX designers, product owners, and an engineering manager to build and enhance the Storefront experience for mobile apps, enabling customers to purchase digital and physical goods.
- Take on a leading role in defining and executing daily development tasks, contributing to the team’s product vision through technical guidance and expertise.
- Design, implement, test, maintain, and monitor robust backend solutions that align with project goals and technical requirements.
- Actively share knowledge with the team through documentation, demos, and presentations, while seeking opportunities to improve technical solutions based on data-driven insights from monitoring services and systems.
- Foster an inclusive team environment by providing and receiving constructive feedback, and supporting the growth and development of your colleagues.
- Collaborate closely with mobile developers and backend engineering colleagues to deliver high-quality, efficient, and reliable software solutions.
What You Bring:
- Expertise in Go (preferably) and/or Java, with a proven track record of leading or contributing significantly to various backend projects.
- Experience deploying applications in Docker/Kubernetes/Azure environments, with proficiency in CI/CD processes based on GitHub Actions.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation in scalable systems.
- Familiarity with Application Performance Monitoring systems (e.g., Elastic), and a passion for advocating for the measurement and tracking of SLI/SLO metrics to drive user satisfaction and business profitability.
- Proficiency in working with GraphQL, with an understanding of how it integrates with federated backend services consumed by frontend clients.
- Bonus: Some familiarity with React.js and frontend development, providing a holistic approach to full-stack engineering.
