Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Hardware & Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Define and validate the entire power and hardware system architecture, integrating power electronics, embedded controllers, and peripheral devices
- Select and evaluate key components, including power electronics, MCUs, sensors, and industrial-grade hardware, optimizing for performance, cost, and reliability
- Collaborate with electrical design engineers to ensure safe and efficient power distribution and embedded system integration
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards (IEC, ISO, UL, CE) and drive load management strategies for optimal system performance
- Provide technical leadership in key system decisions, including power conversion, energy distribution, and thermal management
- Drive manufacturability and scalability, ensuring that hardware design choices align with efficient production and assembly processes
- Conduct hands-on prototyping, testing, and validation of power systems to refine performance and reliability
What you bring:
- 10+ years of experience in hardware and systems engineering, with expertise in power electronics, industrial automation, or embedded systems
- Deep knowledge of power electronics, including AC/DC conversion, energy storage, and load balancing
- Experience in sourcing and integrating off-the-shelf components such as inverters, contactors, power modules, IPCs, and industrial-grade sensors
- Strong systems engineering mindset, with the ability to drive high-level architecture decisions while ensuring robust hardware implementation
- Solid background in electrical design and safety standards, including IEC, ISO, and UL certification
- Familiarity with embedded hardware, including MCU/SoC selection, I/O interfaces, CAN, Modbus, RS485, and RTOS environments
- Hands-on experience in prototyping, lab testing, and validating power systems
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with electrical, mechanical, and software teams to deliver integrated solutions
