Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Health & Safety Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Promote and drive a strong Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture within assembly operations
- Support and coach managers and key stakeholders on HSE actions, compliance, and best practices
- Analyze HSE stakeholder requirements, incident investigations, and audit results to identify root causes, risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement
- Deliver clear and actionable findings that add value in a dynamic and growing organization
- Train, mentor, and support employees and leaders in health and safety matters
- Assist internal and external audit teams; conduct and support internal audits in accordance with ISO 45001:2018
- Lead or support special reviews, hazard assessments, and incident investigations as assigned
What you bring:
- Proven experience working with health and safety topics, preferably in industrial or assembly settings
- University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in health and safety, or a related field
- Deep knowledge of Swedish work environment legislation and regulatory compliance
- Strong understanding of ISO 45001:2018 requirements
- Experience with Bas P/Bas U, Safety by Design principles, and improvement initiatives within HSE
- Familiarity with TIA (Tool for Incident Analysis)
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels
- Positive, structured, proactive, and flexible personality
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Local presence required for on-site collaboration and engagement
