Senior Health & Safety Engineer - 12287

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Health & Safety Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Promote and drive a strong Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture within assembly operations
Support and coach managers and key stakeholders on HSE actions, compliance, and best practices
Analyze HSE stakeholder requirements, incident investigations, and audit results to identify root causes, risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement
Deliver clear and actionable findings that add value in a dynamic and growing organization
Train, mentor, and support employees and leaders in health and safety matters
Assist internal and external audit teams; conduct and support internal audits in accordance with ISO 45001:2018
Lead or support special reviews, hazard assessments, and incident investigations as assigned

What you bring:

Proven experience working with health and safety topics, preferably in industrial or assembly settings
University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in health and safety, or a related field
Deep knowledge of Swedish work environment legislation and regulatory compliance
Strong understanding of ISO 45001:2018 requirements
Experience with Bas P/Bas U, Safety by Design principles, and improvement initiatives within HSE
Familiarity with TIA (Tool for Incident Analysis)
Excellent communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels
Positive, structured, proactive, and flexible personality
Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Local presence required for on-site collaboration and engagement
