Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer Focus to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Manage and maintain backup solutions for Operational Technology (OT) systems, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
- Conduct regular recovery tests to validate backup effectiveness and ensure minimal data loss risks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to backup processes and infrastructure.
- Monitor backup operations to proactively identify and address potential challenges.
- Collaborate with IT and OT teams to align backup strategies with organizational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for backup and data management.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to minimize system downtime.
- Plan and manage storage capacity to accommodate both current and future needs.
- Support adherence to company IT and information systems quality policies.
- Test, implement, and benchmark new backup solutions and procedures for enhanced data availability.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT/OT infrastructure, with a focus on backup and recovery solutions.
- Proficiency in Swedish and English (Swedish as a mother tongue is highly desirable).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for backup-related issues.
- Detail-oriented approach to backup management and documentation.
- Basic knowledge of project management principles.
- Experience working with OT systems and their specialized requirements.
- Excellent social and collaboration skills to navigate diverse work cultures and achieve common goals in cross-functional teams.
Highly meritorious:
- Familiarity with Octoplant for backup and version management.
- Proven experience in automation systems for backup processes.
- Advanced cooperation and communication skills.
