Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure & Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Implement IT Infrastructure & Systems Administration and IT support plans and processes by installing, configuring, and maintaining IT systems software and hardware in line with Galderma’s guidelines and policies.
- Prepare scripts and basic computer programs to automate routine tasks using scripting languages.
- Identify opportunities for improving application functionality, operating systems, and networks, continuously working to enhance their efficiency.
- Select and apply appropriate tools to manage uptime, performance, resource availability, and security of managed systems.
- Resolve and analyze issues in day-to-day operations, implementing practices to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
- Provide support on technical issues and problems to other team members as required.
- Lead and own the Uppsala IT process, ensuring smooth operation and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) during audits and within validation/qualification work for IT/OT infrastructure.
- Assume technical ownership of local IT/OT infrastructure.
What you bring:
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure, Systems Administration, and IT support.
- Advanced knowledge of IT systems software, hardware, and networking in a corporate environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, capable of handling complex issues with specialized knowledge.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation to improve routine tasks and system functionality.
- Ability to design and implement efficient IT systems, balancing performance, security, and resource management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with internal stakeholders and provide solutions to meet their needs.
- Experience in managing and guiding junior employees when required.
- Ability to drive change and convince others to adopt new processes and technologies.
