Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer – DevOps & Cloud to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Develop and maintain backend Java applications, contributing to the future of mobility.
Participate in a diverse DevOps team working in two-week sprints and ten-week program increments.
Take ownership of runtime environments, addressing operational and customer issues.
Design, implement, and optimize microservices, ensuring scalability and performance.
Collaborate on infrastructure as code and cloud solutions using AWS (Lambda, EC2, SQS, S3, etc.).
Work with relational and NoSQL databases to support application requirements.
Apply Agile practices to plan, develop, test, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Support CI/CD pipelines, application profiling, load testing, and performance tuning as required.
Contribute to connected applications within the automotive and mobility domain.

What you bring:

At least 5 years of experience in backend Java development.
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and JMS.
Hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure as code.
Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
Agile and DevSecOps experience, including ownership of runtime environments.
Understanding of microservices architecture, scalability, and load testing.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
Good communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus: experience with ASN1, MQTT, SMPP, UDP, automotive industry connectivity, Docker, Serverless development, CDK, and CI/CD pipelines.
