Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Develop and manage e-services, including backend (Java EE, Java 11+, JPA, EJB, REST) and frontend development (Angular, Typescript, JavaScript).
- Support in other roles as needed within the team, contributing to a collaborative and agile work environment.
- Write and execute unit tests, integration tests, and manually run the system to ensure high-quality development.
- Work in a modern DevOps environment, utilizing tools such as IntelliJ, Maven, Jenkins, Git, SonarQube, Docker, Postgres SQL, and Wildfly.
- Organize work with Jira and Confluence to keep track of tasks and progress in the agile workflow.
- Collaborate with the team in Scrum-based agile development (DAX methodology) to drive development in an efficient and iterative manner.
What you bring:
- 10+ years of experience as a system developer with advanced skills in Java, particularly in Java EE and Java 11+.
- Expertise in EJB/CDI, JPA, REST, Microservices, and OpenAPI.
- Solid knowledge of Angular, Typescript, and JavaScript for frontend development.
- Experience working in agile environments, with experience in unit testing and developer-driven tests (JUnit, Mockito, Jest).
- Strong collaboration skills, good communicator, and a proactive problem-solver.
- Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, for effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
Meritorious:
- Experience with Redux and Material Design for frontend development.
- Previous experience with e-services development.
- Familiarity with managing administrative support within the public sector.
- Experience working in complex environments involving multiple development teams collaborating on large projects.
