Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Java System Developer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Develop and maintain Java-based solutions in a distributed, service-oriented architecture.
- Work with Camunda process engine for process modeling and automation.
- Develop front-end components using Angular and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Build and manage batch solutions for large-scale systems using IBM IWS.
- Develop and maintain legacy systems, including Java-converted CA Gen code, IBM MQ, JCL, and J2U.
- Collaborate in containerized environments using Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
- Perform database modeling, script development, and advanced SQL queries for DB2.
- Integrate systems via REST APIs and manage data in ObjectStores (NooBaa/S3).
- Provide advanced support, mentorship, and guidance to other system developers.
- Participate in joint code reviews and ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Contribute to system thinning tasks to comply with regulatory and legal requirements.
- Work in agile teams, applying Scrum methodology, and collaborate across multiple parallel development teams.
- Document processes, solutions, and results in Confluence and support project tracking in Jira.
What you bring:
- At least 15 years of experience as a Java system developer on distributed service-oriented platforms.
- Deep expertise in Java development (version 17 or higher), including batch processing and Java frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Experience with event-based microservices architecture.
- Strong knowledge of Camunda process engine and modeling with Camunda Modeler.
- Extensive experience in containerized environments (Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift) and related tooling.
- Advanced skills in database design, modeling, and development using IBM DB2, IBM Data Studio, and Data Architect.
- Experience with integration tools including Rabbit MQ, IBM MQ, REST APIs, and JCL/J2U.
- Proficient in code versioning with GIT/Bitbucket and automated build processes with Jenkins.
- Knowledge of front-end development using Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with data management in NooBaa/S3 buckets (ObjectStore).
- Previous experience as IT or system architect, providing guidance and mentoring to development teams.
- Proven track record in complex projects with multiple parallel teams and dependencies.
- Strong understanding of system development in public sector or regulated financial systems is meritorious.
- Fluent in Swedish and English.
