Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What You Will Work On:
- Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers, ensuring high-quality project execution.
- Act as the primary technical contact towards the customer, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
- Oversee the design, prototyping, and testing of mechanical components and systems.
- Integrate mechanical designs into the development process in collaboration with R&D teams.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control processes.
- Drive innovation and optimize mechanical solutions to enhance efficiency, performance, and sustainability.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Communicate technical requirements, progress, and risks to stakeholders, including senior management.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with expertise in FEM calculations and 3D CAD design, preferably within automotive design.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring engineering teams.
- Broad knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, including mechanical design, analysis, and simulation.
- Deep understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control processes.
- Passion for innovation and solving complex engineering challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); Swedish proficiency is a plus.
