Job Description

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Lead (Substation/Grid/Electrical) Engineer – Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Coordinate engineering activities and define technical requirements for suppliers to construct energy storage facilities.
Own and manage overall technical documentation, collaborating closely with the procurement department.
Ensure technical solutions meet operational reliability, capacity, and regulatory compliance standards.
Facilitate stakeholder coordination to achieve project goals within budget and timelines.

What you bring:

Proven experience in a similar role within technical projects in electric power, energy storage, or related fields.
Strong understanding of electrical power systems with experience in high-voltage facility design decisions.
Knowledge of contracting, electrical system design, and grid connection in electricity production, grid infrastructure, or energy storage projects.
Fluent in Swedish language required.

Merit:

Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
Knowledge of control systems and automation solutions for energy facilities.
Experience in transformer procurement and technical specifications.
