Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Linux Tester to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Develop and maintain embedded Linux systems, including low-level software such as drivers and BSP.
• Implement and maintain software components using C, C++, Python, Bash, and shell scripting.
• Contribute to software design, specifications, and requirements for embedded software components.
• Develop and support software test automation to ensure high-quality solutions.
• Work with embedded hardware schematics and understand hardware-software interactions.
• Implement network connectivity solutions, including security, encryption, and firewall configurations.
• Collaborate with the team using source control systems such as Git, GitLab, or GitHub.
• Participate in office work in Solna approximately four to five days per week.
• Contribute to continuous integration systems and agile development processes.

What you bring:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a software developer in a Linux development environment.
• Solid hands-on experience with Embedded Linux systems, Yocto, and open-source software.
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, Bash, and shell scripting.
• Strong understanding of software design, specifications, and requirements.
• Knowledge and interest in software test automation.
• Understanding of embedded hardware architecture and schematics.
• Experience with network connectivity, security solutions, encryption, and firewalls.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other IT-related specialization.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Goal-oriented, cooperative team player.

Nice to have:

• Experience building Continuous Integration systems.
• Knowledge of Robot Framework.
• Experience handling SBOMs (Software Bill of Materials).
• Practical experience with SCRUM and agile methods.
• Knowledge of embedded systems hardware architecture.
• Familiarity with IEC 62304 or IEC 81001-5-1 standards for medical device or health IT software safety and security.
• Previous experience in MedTech or similar industry.
