Job Description

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mainframe Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize mainframe applications within the insurance domain.
  • Work with insurance-related systems, processes, and regulations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing mainframe applications to improve reliability and performance.
  • Contribute domain knowledge to ongoing modernization and integration initiatives.

What you bring:

  • Strong experience in Mainframe systems (COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS or similar).
  • Proven background in the insurance industry – domain knowledge of products, processes, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Broad experience working across different insurance systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly adapt to new environments.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in Swedish (both spoken and written).
